Mission Statement
This website is dedicated to monitoring (also known as police scanning) police, fire, E.M.S., paramedic, ambulance, Homeland Security and Emergency Management radio communications. We supply information on conventional 2-way radio frequencies, Motorola, Macom, G.E. 800MHz analog and digital trunked radio systems, frequencies, 10-codes and Group ID information in Fairfield County, Westchester County and the Metro areas.

The radio scanning equipment and software used can be legally obtained online or at any local radio or computer store.

This site does NOT violate local, state or federal laws and is in full accordance with the Electronic Communications Privacy Act of 1986.

Please join us in honoring those in our community, who through their selfless acts of kindness live the mission of the American Red Cross at the Heroes of Lower Fairfield County Breakfast, Thursday, April 2, 2009 at the Italian Center, Stamford from
7:30 - 9:00 a.m. 

Nominating Guidelines: 

The heroic event must be ongoing or have occured between January 1 and December 31, 2008. 

Nomination forms must be received by January 5, 2009 to be considered. 

Heroes must live or work in Greenwich, Stamford, Darien or New Canaan.

Hero Categories:

Firefighter, Law  nforcement, Medical/EMS
Other Safety Professional (Example: 911 operator, crossing/security guard, etc.)

Adult Good Samaritan

Youth Good Samaritan

Animal Rescue (Person who saved an animal or an animal that saved a person.)

Community Impact
(Person involved in project or ongoing effort that directly impacts the community.)
